  • Only a limited number of this 3-piece set are available. Squad 1, 8, and 9 are limited in production to 125, 75, and 150 respectively.
  • Squad 1 features a submersible pump and platform on the passenger side rear fender, Squad 8 is consistent with day 1 in service configuration. Squad 9 features a stokes basket on the passenger side.
  • Multi-materials including High Def Resin, stainless steel photo etch metal, wire, rubber and other composites.
  • Each Model is mounted inside its own high quality, custom display case featuring etched stainless steel I.D. nameplate.
  • Each Model Dimensions: 5.75"L x 2"W x 2.25"T

About the Scale Model

This Chicago Fire Department 1954 Autocar Squad scale models are museum grade replicas. Like all Fire Replicas models, every detail is modeled to perfection and with razor sharp precision. Each replica features the specific department configuration and graphics, leaving no detail overlooked. Each display case is custom manufactured with high quality acrylic and resin. The stainless steel etched plates feature the department and truck name, and department seal. These replicas are a treasure to be displayed and admired and are in no way toys.

    Astounding efforts by Fire Replicas yield amazing miniatures!

    Thanks to Nicolas Nauman and the Fire Replicas team, miniature fire apparatus collectors once again can rejoice that classic apparatus have been created with the highest possible level of fidelity. Understanding these models were created from mathematical algorithms utilizing many photographs taken from different angles due to the lack of any blueprints or surviving original squads, takes appreciation for the genesis of these trucks to an unprecedented level. That the initial releases sold out in very short order is hardly surprising. If you hesitated and did not acquire the first versions, do not delay pre-ordering one or both of the announced second releases, so you can own a masterpiece of fire history in scale. It has been many years since collectors had this kind of opportunity to influence the future production of classic fire apparatus. Purchasing the Chicago squads casts a vote for Fire Replicas to pursue production of more historic and iconic fire equipment reproduced in incredible detail.

    Fantastic replica of a unique type of fire apparatus that is so much a part of the history of the CFD. The details and paint and lettering are first-class. The models look like they should be out on the street fighting a fire. I would highly encourage adding these models to your collection if you are a Chicago Fire Department Enthusiast

    Fantastic trucks

    I was so excited when I heard the Chicago squads were being produced, growing up around them and riding in one of them a long time ago, I remember the work horses they were. The models are dead on to what the trucks looked like. The details of the grill, bumper bell and mars 888 is fantastic. I hope we can see another model from this era. Great job Fire Replicas.

    I was thrilled when I heard that these classic CFD rigs were being made into collectible model. I had always hoped this would happen as that was the first CFD rig I got a ride on. The detail is phenomenal and the display adds to the pride put into these models. Thanks Fire Replicas! Great job.

    Models of these trucks are long overdue so I'm ecstatic to have them in my collection finally. The detail and accuracy on these are top notch like all Fire Replica models to date. These are a must have for the serious fire model collector.
