KME FDNY Engine 9 Chinatown
Every KME engine produced by Fire Replicas is a SUPERB example of outstanding craftsmanship. The Engine 9 version stands up to the exemplary details of the actual rig, down to the stylized dragon mounted on the front grill. I am attracted to this model because I worked in the area of Manhattan where this company was located and the minutiae of every aspect of this engine has been captured to the smallest “nuts and bolts.” Fire Replicas NEVER disappoints their customers. This rig along with the many models I have from Fire Replicas is proudly displayed on my shelves. Another must have for the ardent collector.

I only came to Fire Replicas late in 2019, so I missed out on their fabulous model of the FDNY tractor drawn aerial number 6 from the Chinatown house, but I was able to secure one early this year on the secondary market and since then I’ve dreamed that Fire Replicas would come out with Engine 9. Well, it’s here and it’s as fabulous as it’s stablemate. As always, the detail is meticulous and is executed with care and precision. My Chinatown Dragonfighters dream team is complete, and I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Fire Replicas!
