Each of the over 900 intricately detailed parts were designed, cast or fabricated, painted, decorated, and trimmed...then organized in small bins, ready for assembly. There is no substitute for the laborious tasks that each of the 35 skilled men and women perform. It is a sight to see as each team member patiently adheres each part to another, consistently analyzing the end result. This City of Los Angeles Fire Department Truck 27 scale model is a museum grade replica of the 2016 Pierce Arrow XT 100' Tiller. Like all Fire Replicas models, every detail is modeled to perfection and with razor sharp precision. The replica features the specific department configuration and graphics, leaving no detail overlooked. The display case is custom manufactured with high quality acrylic and resin. The stainless steel etched plate features the department and truck name, and department seal. This replica is a treasure to be displayed and admired and is in no way a toy.

    So, my Truck 27 has arrived. An absolute masterpiece!!! The Truck 27 specific graphics are great. The numerous details, workmanship and paintwork are absolutely perfect. No matter which L.A. truck you choose, you'll get something special! Thank you FR.

    Amazing Details

    I just got my LA Tiller (27) and after I opened it I was blown away by this one. The truck is amazing looking. The first thing that catches the eye of the long tiller is the flawless bright red paint job, with the perfect white stripe and letters making it even more prominent. The long white aerial is also striking with every rung outlined in yellow, with gray coating on each rung, and tools along the ladder. The XT cab is sharp and has several different lights and antennas on the roof. The detailed parts around and under the turntable look great. The wood grain look on the ladders mounted along the tiller section add to the realistic look of wooden ladders. The tiller mans cabs just are perfect on the models FR does. What was amazing was to see the PPV fans two sizes and the straps to holding them in place. The fan blade is a paper thin piece of photo etc that really pops. This one is a “Ten”, it’s like each time a Tiller gets done they just get better. If you have the means and want a super looking tiller to add to your collection LA City is worth it. It even looks better with the engine, now I need 227.
