Finally had the chance to take a detailed look at this. And wow! The level of detail is amazing. From the details on the pump panel to the off road lights in the bumper. Even the rear step to get up top! This is incredibly close to the forest service type 3's I have worked on, which aren't in Cali.

QC minor issue USFS Model 34 engine
The plaque on the plinth/base for this model has an error: "US Forestry Service Wildland..."....fortunately the model's deco has it correct on the back end. It is, and always has been, the "U.S. Forest Service". Now that it's sold out, it's a moot point. But I'm a stickler for some things, and that's one of my pet peeves. Otherwise, this is an awesome model, and has inspired me to purchase two more models from Fire Replicas today.

Really impressed with the details and no forest assigned to the bumper or rear That leaves it open personal favorites.
Glad that Fire Replicas took a risk casting a non “normal” fire apparatus, but for specialty field. Hoping to see future releases with the newer Freightliner M2 chassis as well. Great job
