    LA County 1965 Crown E51

Every Fire Replicas model amazes me, but this classic blew me away. The details are utterly incredible...the SCBAs, the intricate hose load, the deck gun...all there and more. Open cab rigs are a throwback to a bygone era, and this one is a very welcome addition to my collection. As when I received my Ward LaFrance, this model helped me to re all those Saturday nights in front of the TV, watching "Emergency!" Thanks to Fire Replicas for building such fine collectibles!

The attention to accurately capturing all of the features on this iconic apparatus is impressive. The model is finely detailed to the point where, in the right light, you are transported back to its days on “Emergency.”

    L. A. County E 51, 1965 Crown Firecoach pumper.

I just received mine & it's unbelievably gorgeous! The details are beyond compare. The whip antennas, air packs, the strainer for the hard suction hoses, dual booster reels, the red warning light just ahead of the booster reels, the windshield wiper motors at the top of the windshield, & the distinctive Crown curved handrails at the jump seat positions. The Crown emblem has been accurately duplicated at 4 positions, as well. I've been able to photograph many Crowns up & down the West Coast & they're really special. Crowns were one of the earliest cab forward designs for fire apparatus. The WLF version of E 51 was a welcome addition to my collection. This one is even better!

    Just amazing looking

The latest classic rig from Fire Replicas is is just amazing looking. My Favorite thing about the classics is you basically see all the equipment. The Crown was very popular out west and is outstanding looking and you can basically see all the intrigue equipments, which is also true to the scale on the body, no bulky parts. The cab interior is fully visible and the stick shifts are just right for the scale. The crossways and booster reels again just the right size. The wooden grain on the ladders and hose bed decking is true to the era, and standouts very well. The Crowns pump panel and fitting, are real looking for a model of this scale. Having see and photographed the real museum rig I am just amazed that every detail is on the model. Fire Replicas definitely created another museum quality replica. Outstanding job.
