FDNY MIRT Freightliner
My collection is focused mainly on engines with occasional rescues and ladders so this piece did not immediately appeal to me. However, I was looking to balance the variation of chassis in my collection with a Freightliner piece so decided to add this model. Wow, not disappointed - a bit different from the norm but as has already been noted in other reviews awesome detail we have come to expect from Fire Replicas. Very pleased with this addition to my collection!!

FDNY Marine Incident Respose Team
In October of 2018, during our 8th visit to New York city from the UK my wife and I spent a day with a good friend who is a dispatcher with the FDNY. Among other visits that day was the FDNY Marine division at the Brooklyn Navy Yards, where the fireboat 343 was being refuelled. After a two hour tour of the 343 we left and I was able to photograph several apparatus on the dockside. Among these was the Marine Incident Response Team apparatus. When I learned that Fire Replica's was to release a model of this apparatus it was a must buy, and having received the model today I have to say that it was exactly the right decision. This model is just amazing, it is 100% accurate and authentic to the real vehicle and, for me, a nice addition to the usual engines and ladders that we collect as models, a unique unit in it's own right. Congratulations Fire Replica's, once again you've pulled it off.
