FDNY Haz-Mat 1, 1983 ALF CTC/Saulsbury.
I had trouble choosing this model, or its later assignment as Collapse Rescue 3. However, it was the cheeky "Better living thru chemistry" written under the windshield that decided the issue for me. As usual, the persnickety little details are present on this model. Things like the flapper valve on top of the vertical smokestack & the: "PSI" decals above the front wheels. The replication of the 2 Haz-Mat decals on the cab are very impressive. Fire Replicas should be commended for including unique & rare rigs, like this one, in their offerings. Also, they should be commended for accurately portraying rigs that are very much alike, while including the new details. This is not just a simple repaint of the very similar Rescue 2 model from the same era.
