Wow! What a great addition to the Fire Replicas collection. Faithfully replicated, right down to the American flag in the middle upper window on the driver's side of the body. Modern rescues are big square boxes, which are attractive in their own way. However, it's nice to see a late example showing the application of the craftsmanship of traditional coachbuilders. The complex curves & angles make the rig really interesting. Especially notable is the way the bubble gum machine rotator has been installed onto a round pedestal that in turn has been integrated onto a sloping piece of sheet metal above the cab. A long hoped for & certainly welcome addition to my collection. This is my 4th FDNY R1 model from Fire Replicas. It's fascinating to track the development of the rigs over the years. Also, the Mack B was always a really attractive cab.
