Phenomenal
The five Washington DC capitol Seagrave pumpers are the most exquisitely detailed replicas I have seen. Every detail has been captured to perfection, with no short cuts taken. It literally looks like a miniature working fire truck. The replicated aluminum wheels actually shine like aluminum wheels. The Stainless Steel etched parts are really what set this brand of collectibles apart from others. I’ve been collecting small scale fire apparatus for 30 years now. I’ve been kitbashing them for 25 years now. I never dreamed we would see anything so amazingly detailed. If you are on the fence about purchasing any Fire Replicas piece, this one will put an end to all of uncertainties.

DCFD Engine 6
District of Columbia Fire Department Seagrave Capital Engine 6 is the 20th addition to my Fire Replica’s collections and as with the previous 19 models I’m amazed. The detail is incredible. I saw the 1:1 scale apparatus at FDIC in 2018 and again later in June that year on a run in DC (not bad as I’m from the United Kingdom). I really like the individuality that this particular model shows, such as the “Engine 6” high rise pack among other detail. Once again Fire Replica’s has excelled with this release.

This is my second Fire Replicas model, the first being Fairfax County Truck 429. It seems with each new release, Fire Replicas sets the bar for excellence even higher. E6 perfectly captures the new breed of Seagrave Capitol pumpers recently delivered to DCFD. The detail is meticulous and outstanding with no item overlooked and matches the dozens of photos I have of these new pumpers. The finish and graphics are simply perfect. I am so glad that I decided to purchase this model and add it to my 1/50th scale "fleet". Hoping to see more DCFD and Fairfax County releases in the future. Well Done Fire Replicas!
