The Washington D.C. Fire & EMS Tower 3 scale model includes a staggering 800+ intricately detailed parts. A team of 35 skilled craftsmen and women patiently trim, glue and assembly every component...some so small that a razor-sharp tweezers is required for handling. Syringes are used to apply a minute amount of glue behind each incredibly fine part. A beautiful truck worth every penny and replicated to perfection. Something neat about Fire Replicas is that now matter how many times you look at a model something new jumps out at you. Every piece, every wire, every little detail just makes these models the best they can be. This truck is 100% no exception. Every time I find myself looking at it, I recognize something new that I didn't see the last time (or many times). So much about this truck makes it a must have, from the fact it is the truck that is first due to the white house, or the fact it is DC's only Tower Ladder. Where does a guy start and what can be said that hasn’t been said already. As with every Fire Replica I purchase the Level and accuracy of detail just seems to get better and better. Just when you think that’s it, the bar can’t go any higher, there is yet another notch. 1. Realism: It’s astonishing how real these pieces look. If you set up a simple diorama and use a specific angle, it’s hard to tell if it’s the 1:50th scale replica or the real deal. 2. Graphics: They are as crisp and clear as the full scale unit. 3. Craftsmanship: On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest level of accuracy, it’s a high 13. Considering the amount of parts and how small they are, the quality is above and beyond my expectations. 4. Overall appearance: There just aren’t enough words and the right kind of words in the English vocabulary to describe this truck so if your old enough to recall comic books with Batman and Robin, they used words like “BOOM”, “Kapow”, “ZAPPPP”, “Wappo” and best of all “Zonko”. It’s just an absolute knockout piece and I’m certain that when we look back on 2020 for a year in review, DC Tower Ladder 3 will be at the top of the list for best piece in all categories.

Recently received my DCFD T-3 and once again Fire Replicas knocked this one out of the park, absolutely no stone left unturned with attention to detail this DCFD T-3 replica is identical to the real rig right down to scuff/scratches on the outrigger pads, DCFD T-3 is truly outstanding in detail and likeness to the real DCFD T-3 a 10/10, I look forwrd to many more Fire Replicas coming in the future.
