Stainless steel is the main material for all the fine details including window trim, antennas, mudflaps, various logos, slamlocks, cab access steps and much more. A team of 35 skilled craftsmen and women patiently trim, glue and assembly every component...some so small that a razor-sharp tweezers is required for handling. Syringes are used to apply a minute amount of glue behind each incredibly fine part. This DC Fire & EMS HazMat 1 scale model is a museum grade replica of the 2018 Pierce Arrow XT Heavy Rescue. Like all Fire Replicas models, every detail is modeled to perfection and with razor sharp precision. The replica features the specific department configuration and graphics, leaving no detail overlooked. The display case is custom manufactured with high quality acrylic and resin. The stainless steel etched plate features the department and truck name, and department seal. This replica is a treasure to be displayed and admired and is in no way a toy.

    Another home run! After getting E16, I just had to add another Pierce to my FR DCFD fleet. Amazing detail, incredible accuracy and unbeaten attention to fit, finish and production quality. I thoroughly enjoy these models and as many have said, see something new every time I look at them. I love to peruse photos of the actual rigs and see just how much work FR has put into "getting it right". In 52 years of collecting miniature fire apparatus, I find FR second to none. This is yet another MUST have for DCFD enthusiasts, Pierce lovers, Hazmat followers or just those who appreciate the best out there.

    I am constantly astounded by the incredible amount of detailing on these rigs. The DC HazMat rig is just fantastic. It is my second Washington DC model but won't be the last. The light bars, decaling and paint is absolutely the best of any models on the market. Great job AGAIN, Fire Replicas!

    Incredible, stunning, marvelous, extraordinary detail, a captivating sheen, this piece is so well produced it literally looks like it’s ready to take off for the next job. The precision is amazing, how could stainless look so crisp, how can the graphics be so minuscule but so lifelike. I am so fascinated and so pleased with this piece I actually bought 3. When I get tired of looking at one I’ll go look at another to search for more detail. Another Grand Slam by Fire Replicas!!!!

    Received my DCFD Haz Mat 1 this scale model is nothing short of impeccable another homerun scale model, every possible detail has been captured. This model accurately displays the Pierce Arrow XT cab both exterior & interior 100%, the likeness of the truck is of exactness to the real rig from stem to stern. The body is outstanding capturing every detail as speced out on the real rig, The DCFD Haz-Mat 1 is a 10/10, another outstanding quality museum scale fire replica piece. Can't wait for the DCFD Pierce Arrow XT engines and future Fire Replicas models yet to come.
