Chicago's FWD tiller ladder features true-to-scale parts that are individually designed, cast or fabricated, painted, decorated and assembled over the course of 12 months. From the hand lights mounted behind the cab to the trailer-mounted street and cellar pipes, this classic rig is authentic and precise.

Only 50 pieces each of Hook & Ladder Company 21, 32 and 46 have been produced. Fire Replicas manufactures true collectibles in limited quantities for enhanced long-term value. Once fully sold, no additional units will be produced.
Authentic, hand-crafted and fully protected
Each wooden ladder is replicated using water immersion graphics to create a wood grain appearance. The wood grain and tone will vary, model to model. In addition, each H&L Co. replica has unique graphics including license plates, and door decals. Each model is display-ready, carefully protected inside a fully custom display case.

1954 FWD Chicago Fire Department Aerial Hook & Ladder
Beautiful truck. Center piece of my fire truck collection. Wish the scale was 1/48th or 1/43rd, but I'm OK with size of truck. Very impressed and look forward to other vintage fire trucks.

Chicago 1954 tiller
I purchased Truck 26, and I'm EXTREMELY pleased with the model. ALL of the models from Fire Replicas are outstanding, but the level of detail on this one is incredible. Axes, pike poles, salvage covers, and all the wood ground ladders are visible. Even the license plate is replicated! I am displaying it next to my CFD 1954 Autocar Squad 1, and the two look great together.

Another great Chicago vintage rig. After doing a feature on Father Tom and his CFD FWD TDA. In Fire Apparatus and Emergency Equipment I had to add this piece. My collection is not growing that much but glad to have this piece.

The 1954 FWD 85' Tractor-Drawn Aerial is a masterpiece of miniature engineering. I was awestruck by the minute attention to detail and the scaling of the accessory equipment. I have not seen an FWD model truck at this scale ever. I normally do not buy models of fire appliances, and I purchased this on a whim. However, I was greatly rewarded with a piece that would be right at home in a museum. Actually come to think of it, it's a museum piece in my home. Stunning work Fire Replicas!
