Chicago's FWD tiller ladder features true-to-scale parts that are individually designed, cast or fabricated, painted, decorated and assembled over the course of 12 months. From the hand lights mounted behind the cab to the trailer-mounted street and cellar pipes, this classic rig is authentic and precise.

Only 50 pieces each of Hook & Ladder Company 21, 32 and 46 have been produced. Fire Replicas manufactures true collectibles in limited quantities for enhanced long-term value. Once fully sold, no additional units will be produced.
Authentic, hand-crafted and fully protected
Each wooden ladder is replicated using water immersion graphics to create a wood grain appearance. The wood grain and tone will vary, model to model. In addition, each H&L Co. replica has unique graphics including license plates, and door decals. Each model is display-ready, carefully protected inside a fully custom display case.

Perfection to the Max!!!
Just when I thought that Fire Replicas could not out-do themselves, this historic Chicago Hook 'n' Ladder model appears. As a youngster I remember and treasure the times that my two aunts, both Catholic Sisters who taught at Holy Angels on the south side of the City, took me to their nearby firehouse where one of these FWDs were quartered. On my first trip there I remember a husky CFD Tillerman lifting me up and placing me in the Tiller seat. From that moment on I knew that I was confirmed to become a firemen in life. This model has brought back those great times. These models are extremely detailed and filled with the hardware that the FWD's sported in that era. They were very long rigs, since they had a two-section 85' wooden "stick", and required a Tiller steering mechanism to navigate the challenging streets of Chicago. Fire Replicas' FWD models are both authentic and accurate beyond seeing. These are a "must-have" for those who want to revisit the days of a remarkable time in the history of the Chicago Fire Department. Wow!

Awesome model, from my days as a young Fan with the CFD. I have personal memories of H&L 33 as a young teen, my father was the " Buggy" driver for the Battalion Chief that was overseeing this company. I .couldn't ask for anything better.

Another outstanding piece! Great "wood" look on the aerial and ground ladders. One minor point - I think the extension/retraction cable probably would not have been black. How about a ALF JO/JOX aerial?

Beautiful model.
Another great model from Fire Replicas. The tiller's detail is amazing. The only improvement would be for it to raise. I have to admit that part of the reason I ordered it was that the truck number and our station number are the same.
